Who are taking surveys that they knew that there might have been tracking cookies in it? Now my question is, do I need to worry about this if I am using an Apple product? Because if tracking cookies can penetrate also a Mac I will immediately stop answering any online surveys. Haha! I won't risk my computer health in exchange of nickels.

Most surveys through reputable sites won't put anything dangerous on your computer and they always inform you if they are going to place tracking cookies. They usually remove them when the survey period is over, too. Just be careful where you do surveys.

Regular cookies are small bits of information about what you have done on a particular site. They are NOT viruses or malicious code and cannot harm your computer. They are only of any use to the particular site that left them. Tracking cookies go one step further and can sometimes send personal data to a third-party site. Again, they can't harm your computer but they may compromise your personal data. There is a good description of what they are, what they can do and how to protect yourself against them here:
