How much sleep do you have

How much sleep do you have I must admit I’m not good at sleeping. When I was in California I did sleep better than I have done in all the years of being in the UK. It felt that my body was on the right time zone for a change. Do you sleep well, come moving to a different country have you sleep better, is your body clock on the wrong time zone? How much sleep do you have per night?

I have been a good sleeper for years. It was something I could never compromise with but lately, with so much happening in my life, I feel I lack sleep. I am not sleeping enough and I seriously need to change my sleeping habits. I have been travelling a lot in the past years but I never really had the difficulty of falling asleep. Just in some instances maybe. When I feel exhausted after hours of travelling or with the burden of work, my eyes can't resist being open. I would just sleep.

I have a unique blessing or curse. I can sleep almost the moment my head touches the pillow, except when it is extremely hot.

Anything between 7-8 hours. I believe that is "normal".

yeah that is meant to be normal, but what relly is normal? everyone one is different, so what is normal to you won't be to someone else.

I sleep well unless i am preoccupied with some work. .I have never been on a different time zone to check if it works better or not But I guess I need my 7 hours of sleep everyday.

@kevin1877uk As Doc's say we should sleep a minimum of 8 hrs but thats not possible always, I generally sleep for 6 hrs, And if you will ask me the reason, its simple as the people with whom I work are in a different time zone , its like when its my sleeping time, they are at work and vice versa.. :)

Could you sleep at a different time to be on the same time zone as the people whom you work for?

I usually sleep about six hours per night. I know it's less than the proper level suggested by experts, but it's hard for me to change this bad habit. Though I sleep too late at night, I sleep pretty well without waking up during that period. When I sleep in a different place, the quality of sleep is usually worse than usual.

I think what ever is good for you, everyone is different to the amount of sleep they need.

I try to have around 6 hours of sleep mostly. I do try to get more but just does not work with my mind keeping me sleepless. I wish to make finances strong enough to have some good sleep. I have yet to go strong on that front. I can tell you that sleep often doesn't come that quickly either as well.

I have not leapt over the pond so I can't comment on whether or not I sleep better because of it. I will say that I sleep better now than I did a few years ago. Working the night shift and sleeping during the day is much better for my body. Sleeping at night just wasn't cutting it for me and I often had to nap during the day to make up for it.

Sometimes you can't sleep well if you have cats as a pets, and a tin roof over your head. As it happens with me,I am unable to get my forty winks, when these felines create a ruckus over my roof. Also, when it rains heavily.

I have never been a good sleeper, I usually can sleep from 5 to 6 hours per night. The place where I slept better it was Kirkland, King County (WA). I do not know why, but I was able to sleep 9 hours per night for a full week.

When I can sleep good at night with no interruptions I can sleep for about 6-7 hours but sometimes I tend to not be able to fall asleep and only get like 3-4 hours and then tired the next day.

I know what you mean there, sometimes I feel horrible with only a few hours, but sometimes I feel great after only a few hours.
