Anyone have a good recipe for scallops?

Yesterday evening I watched a rerun of a cooking show involving kids who want to be chefs. One of the girls made scallops. After watching her cook them my mouth watered. This was our morning to hit the grocery store. Since we don't get fresh seafood in our local grocery stores I opted for frozen scallops...the bag says they are from USA waters, I sure hope so.
I normally just sauté them in a mixture of olive oil and butter and wish them well, but I should try something different. If you have any suggestions/recipes let me know. Thanks.

I like scallops with a light sauce, I make a scallop chowder that it's easy to make and very good. The same recipe as clam chowder, but use scallops instead of clams. Add the scallops after the potatoes are almost done, and cook a couple of minutes before adding the dairy cream.

I'll have to try that another time, no milk or cream in the house - we don't use much of it and never seem to have it when a recipe come up!

@AbbyGreenhill I imagine you can skip cream and milk. I use very little.
