More on suggestions #1

Sent out my first suggested post earlier - not one of mine. I thought it would go automatically to all my followers but it opens a drop down menu to select followers from. It is hard to think with any article of who would read it and who might not. I'd assume hat anyone who has shown an interest in my scrawling will also enjoy other pages read as they will touch on similar topics to those I write about. maybe a send to all button would save having to pick out individual readers, especially for anyone following 100 or more people.

not everyone writes something new every day and the more followers you have the wider your net is cast - you can't visit them all every day but you do your best not to neglect them too much. It is an art form

That's fine. I tend to ignore the option as most writers are just plugging their own work which we should be able to find anyway if we want to.

I don't know. The suggestion thing seems to me like it's intended to share things you find interesting or important with other people, not as a tool to promote your posts. I'm far less likely to read the post if someone suggested their own to me.

I have never sent out any suggestions, and I doubt I will either. Most of the time, my discussions are found anyway, so that makes me feel good. I don't mind getting them, as I see discussion there, that I might not see otherwise. I guess you can say that I feel funny, suggesting something, that just wouldnt be of interest anyway, so for now, I won't be suggesting any of my discussions.

I just wish I could organize those, like have a close group, people I talk to all the time, and then an everyone group or something.

Hah, same problem here mate. I too suffered thinking about suggestions. Those who have 100 followers , if each write 2 discussions and suggest then he would get 200 suggestions and in a week 1400 suggestions.Oh! my god. But the followers must be active ones for this to happen
