My First Post at MyLot / myLot

I am one of those who has been slow about leaving the big B. I left once over payment issues back -- when was it? December of last year? -- and tried a couple of other sites which I didn't like all that much. I found myself going back and really became attached to so many people I saw there on a daily basis. But now many of those people are gone. Where did they go? Why here to MyLot, of course! I guess I'm following them here to see what this place is all about. I'm browsing around. If you remember me from there or from Squidoo or one of the other sites where I've spent time over the years, please let me know you are here. It feels scary trying yet another site, but knowing there are some friendly faces around will make it less so. I hope to see you again soon, old and new friends.

Even 'Morgue-like' you might say..apart from the fact it blocks people from using it with it's constant App.errors, maintenance breaks and a myriad other glitches.. ah.well one person's loss is another's gain...

This isn't a scary site at all. You just need to learn a few tricks of navigation and you'll do fine.

@MALUSE No, there is no referral system at the moment. (There used to be but it was abandoned, of course, when MyLot ended the earnings program in 2013). It is something which the owners, apparently, have under consideration but it doesn't seem to be anything which will come back in the near future, if ever. A referral systems' main purpose is to increase membership, of course. At the moment, the membership seems to be doing quite well without it (and, of course, any referral system has to be paid for, so will reduce the earnings of existing members to an extent.)

Site B is a Ghost town and they surely do not have to blame the users. Glitches, errors, missing payments, slow refresh of the pages... they did everything to discourage us to continue.

The BB site team is the only one to blame for the mess they are in. We did our share but they didn't do theirs.

Hello Sheila, good to see you. I came here as I was so frustrated with the other site, but I'm still there when it's possible to get on. I like it here, and I'm sure you will too. Everyone is so helpful, and you already know a lot of us.
