I have often heard reference of static in the atmosphere affecting internet connection, but fail to see how this could be possible.
I would blame NASA for putting all that space junk in orbit, or maybe the UFOs which are draining your transmission in order to learn more about us.

@Inlemay could be, but if they are anything like the one I work for (I work for one of the top ten biggest in America), they'd want you to check all that anyways.

When I first got up yesterday I couldn't get on my usual sites(FB, Mylot, Yahoo, etc.) It was okay about a half an hour later.
