It has been months since I stopped keeping my diary. Computer crashes kept me offline for eight weeks in early Summer, so my most recurring feature was flat-lined. I miss it and today sees its return, here on Mylot. It isn’t the most exciting day for a revival. I had to see if some money owed to me by my welfare officers came through on time, especially as I had virtually nothing left in my account. I’m safe as the money has been paid in. I had to see my welfare team (a coincidence that it is on the day they pay me), and present a print out of my job searching. As I do so little printing, I get this done at libraries but my local library was closed all morning, so I had to go to the city centre one by Metrolink, use the same tram service back to the signing office and later use the Metrolink tram again to meet friends for a real ale event in the city centre. Had the local library opened all day only one tram expedition would have been required. I’ll cover the evening pub crawl separately. Arthur Chappell
