Fire

The other day, while I was going out from the grocery, I saw that people outside the store were looking at a distance. I wondered because more and more people looked at what the others looked. Out of curiosity, I also looked at the direction where they were watching. I saw black smoke as if a building was burning. Sirens were heard. Then we saw that red flames came out. From that distance, it seemed that it was really a big big fire. It really was big but not as big as I expected. The fire was at the school where I graduated. Yesterday morning, when we passed the school, we saw that what was burned was the old library building of the school. That was also the library that was existing during my time. But at this time before it was burned, it was used as library plus dormitory. There was also a canteen. The burned building was situated in the center of the campus. So when we pass it, it seems that there was no fire that hit it because the buildings surrounding it are still in good shape. I have read on facebook that fire departments from nearby towns sent their fire trucks to the rescue. Thanks God there were no casualties, except that students who are living in the dorm have no shelter. Hope they will find another home soon.

Aww so many books and possessions lost in the fire too I guess. Those poor students with no roof over their heads.

Yes, books and possessions of the school were burned. The worst part is that according to unconfirmed stories, the dormitory was also burned. So students living in the dormitory lost their possessions. Oh I just hope they had taken their important documents if there were some.
