Script error appears....Why

When ever I try to open a software programme like word, photoshop, pagemaker etc...the below message appears me....why so...? an error occurred in the script on this page line 1 char 9251 Error : The value of the property ' loadinline' is null or undefined, not a function object code : o url:

All that it's possible to say from the information you give is that a script file (most likely part of the Windows installation) on your PC is missing or corrupted. The first thing I would try would be to insert your original Windows disk and boot from it (or if the Windows installation exists on a hidden partition on your laptop, use the tools provided) so that you can choose "Repair Windows Installation". This should identify and replace the missing or damaged file(s) without disturbing your data. If this doesn't work, then you will need to back up your data files to a reliable storage medium and reinstall Windows and all the application software that you use and then restore your data files.

I'm confused. Script errors are associated with web browsers not window applications. I need more information.
