Can you believe taking a shower while on an airplane?Very expensive and I wouldn't do it. Costs about $30,000 on first class from NYC to some south sea Isle I guess it was. Just saw this on the news. I haven't been on a plane in about thirty years. How about you?

I have flown 18 times so far this year, but I always fly with budget airlines and they certainly do not have showers.

I have no reason to fly. 18 times in one year? That's a lot. Is that for work or something?

@celticeagle I retired last year so I have been taking advantage of the free time to take a few holidays. I have had 9 so far this year, which constitutes 18 flights in all.

@celticeagle It just makes you realize the unfairness of the world as far as wealth goes.

Then you could schedule a flight and get one that way.

Instead you could have a shower in the aerodrome itself where they have rooms with attached bathrooms that you can rent by the hour and it is very reasonably priced !

@celticeagle Who would be silly enough to want to go on an airplane just to be able to take a shower. It is rediculous.

@celticeagle Why would one need a shower unless its a very long distance flight across the continents. Even then what @kiran8 has suggested, is very true.

@Gabugs , Mumbai airport has cubicles with attached bath n toilets that you can rent by the hour, which is very convenient when you are in transit and want to stretch out and take a nap, or freshen yourself ..

I certainly would not want to take a shower on an airplane even if I could afford it. The last time I was on an airplane was in 1986 they are not my favorite form of travel and I avoid them as much as possible.

I would never shower on a plane and I didn't think they had showers. I would just wait til I got to my destination to shower.

If I had the money, I would fly that airline and fly first class.

I have seen yesterday a luxury plane with only 38 sits all first class, it is very expensive. This year I have not been on a plane, last time it was in 2014.

@Marcyaz I did once, we were frequent flyers and we had a class upgrade, from tourist to first class. As it was an International flight from Nice (France ) to Los Angeles it has been most appreciated.

It's probably been about 10 years since I was last on a plane. I sure wouldn't spend that much money, even if I had it.

I have flown first class before, but would never ever want to take a shower on a jet. I take a shower ASAP after getting off one!
