When your hobby earns for you

I think I was born with a leaf in my hand as gardening was a passion with me right from the time I could see the difference between a flower and a leaf although I would dig up to see if there were roots for my newly planted cutting and that would be the end of that cutting. I was tired of that 9 to 5 job although I was at the peak of my career. With a husband who earned enough I got the courage to submit my resignation without knowing what I would be doing with my time when in walked my nephew who knew a builder who was looking for someone to design their exteriors. He felt I could handle that. That was my first landscaped garden designing and executing job. I floated a company with his wife as my partner who took care of the administrative side of our company. We had a flourishing business until we decided to settle down here away from the madding crowd. I do not design for others any more but spend most of my time tending to our garden which I have landscaped. It has a waterfall, a birdbath, lots of fruit trees.........the works.
