A pipe burst in my cellar today

I did a load of laundry and at 2pm I went to my sisters house to watch her son for her while she went to watch her daughter cheer in a pep rally at school. I had a fun time playing with my 3 year old nephew. He cried and was really upset when I left as he was enjoying playing outside with me. I was gone for about an hour and as soon as I stepped into the house I heard a strange noise. I opened the cellar door and found that a pipe had broke and was spraying water all over the stairs. I quick called my father in law who is a plumber to come help me. He luckily lives nearby and was going to a job about 10 miles away so I got a hold of him just in time. He stopped up and turned the water off for me. After he did the job he had to do he came back and took off the broken copper pipe and put a new plastic one on. Thankfully it did not ruin anything. It was pretty wet in my cellar but I was able to wipe off the stuff on the stairs like bottles of apple juice. Everything else that was on the floor is in plastic storage totes so nothing was ruined and the floor and anything wet will dry over the next few days. I really want to get caught up a little here at mylot but I am just exhausted. I spent my spare time today on crowdtap and swagbucks. I hope to be able to get some time to be a little more active on here tomorrow since I don't get much time on the computer on weekends.
