especially if it is a show I enjoyed. I find new comments or scenes I missed before. Do you find this to be true? Like in a movie you enjoyed. You go to watch it again and find things in it you had forgotten. I sure do. Maybe it is because my mind is gone and any memory I ever had has gotten up and walked out on me.

This is the reason why I like to look again at movies and shows, I always discover something that I had missed.

Exactly we do seem to miss some things the first time we watch a movie.

I do like them as well. I think I have seen every episode of Little House on the Prairie, but I still watch them, as like you said, there is always something that I missed from before. I have watch shows on Netflix more than once too, as i really liked them, and so I would just keep watching them.

@Marcyaz I am watching little house now on hallmark Channel. It is a very good family show. It is the best series out there I think at least family wise, oh and the Waltons is good too. I have the Waltons on dvd.

At one time I would never waste my time watching something that I had seen before. It seemed pointless since I already knew what was about to happen and the end result of the show. Recently I have found myself watching reruns the majority of the time. There is so little that interests me among the modern televised programs that reruns are the only real worthwhile material.

Yep exactly these new programs with the skimpy clothes and foul language I do not enjoy watching so I go back to the older programs where they don't have that.

@Asylum....I do so agree. I have never been a fan of most of the comedies although TBBT was a pleasant surprise. I like that several cable stations are bringing back so many oldies but goodies. I had wished that would happen for several years before it finally happened.

@Asylum ...That is so true. With my memory don't mind watching a few movies I have seen because I forget parts of them.

There are several that they haven't brought back that I wish they would. Glad to have the opportunity of seeing the ones that they have though.

I find this to be so true that upon viewing a second time I see things I missed the first time around. Sometimes I wonder how it missed some obvious things the first time LOL

I generally like to rewatch movies because I know I have missed some important scenes or whatever has happened and I for some reason missed it.

I have the bad habit of doing two things at once so I am never fully engaged in watching something. I do miss some of it so seeing it again is a nice plus.

I do the same thing. I started re watching episodes of Malcolm in the Middle, and I've been finding all kinds of things I didn't notice before. The last time I watched the show was when it was still making new episodes so it has been awhile. Usually my favorites to watch over are Buffy, Angel, and Charmed, but lately I've been into Bryan Cranston. At any rate I know what you mean. I've probably watched all of the Buffy episodes at least a good 4 or 5 times a piece some a lot more and I'm still finding things I didn't notice.

@celticeagle Those shows all have so much going on in them that it's so easy to miss things. I haven't watched them in awhile. Usually once I start an episode I go all the way through. I don't have much time to do that lately though. Once More With Feeling, every time I watch that episode of Buffy I notice something new. That's probably my favorite episode of Buffy.

Same here. I love Buffy, Angel and Charmed. Am about due to watch Angel again. I see Charmed each week day morning unless I go to bed and am able to sleep.

I used to enjoy Frazier, which is a spin off that one, but after seeing one of the Housewives with his ex on it and learning how mean and awful he was to her I quite watching it. I don't even find it amusing any longer.

Oooh yeah but i guess it is because you cannot grab everything at once. You always find something new and also funny when you re-watch a movie
