I hate it when my luck isn't working for me / myLot

Luckily it is just in the games on FB. Sometimes I have the best luck. I got on a slot machine one day and got up to like 15,000,000 which I was excited about. Then I went back to the Unicorn something slots a couple days later and got 169,000,000. I usually play Farkle, Pearl's Peril, and Scrabble. I just went to the slots cause there was a unicorn and I wanted to look at the graphics. I know it is silly, a waste of time, etc. but when I have been doing some research or writing for several hours I need something mundane and silly to bring my brain down from high gear.

I don't think there is anything wrong or silly about it. I do the same thing sometimes and it does help me relax. I also find coloring in a coloring book helps.

I haven't colored in years. I have a friend who is in hospice care and her nurses have gotten her coloring books as an activity since there isn't much she can do now.

I personally have no interest in online games whatsoever, although I do know that they have become extremely popular.

My BFF is that way too. No games. I just enjoy them. They help me distress and even relax a bit.

I too play Pearl's peril and scrabble on FB, those are the only two games I play now..earlier I used to play a few more , but given up now !

@celticeagle I play criminal cases at times but after a while all of them bore you because they are all the same..

I quit playing games long back. Online or even the computer based. I was greatly addicted to Diablo II and the IGI. On day I realized that I had been playing Diablo on the network for 48 hours non-stop. That was it. I pulled the plug and thankfully never got back to getting addicted.

That is good that you caught yourself. My grandson plays Mind Craft. I don't have a problem at all with these games. I think they are so much better than the alternative. I live the hidden object games and word games.
