I wonder why so many are so irresponsible. What's the use of trash bin if they leave their trash anywhere? Where? 1. On ATM machine 2. Common dining area (in our dormitory) 3. Tables in the pantry (in our office) 4. On my desk! (In our office) 5. In the common bathroom! (In our dormitory) 6. On the hallways (in our dormitory) 7. On the streets Seriously these people are so irresponsible! What to do?

Some people have no common sense. Spitting out gum into the urinals in the Gents/Male washroom/WC really gets my goat...

@pgntwo, I can relate. In my previous company, we have no permanent desk. It's always first come first serve basis. I had a horrible experience with chewing gum. One representative left chewing gum which is for sure they chewed for hours, under the desk. I accidentally touched that part and was so shocked when I touched that chewing gum.

So sad it's true, @lovinangelsinstead21. They are so many and I, myself can't change this alone. I know I can't. It's impossible to change one's behavior. Teaching the right thing should start at a very young age and teachers should walk what they talk.

Oh! @Hatley, I used to believe people in the USA are not doing such thing. I always admire all of you because you have stricter rules than us. For instance, you can't smoke anywhere you want to. Here in the Philippines, though there's NO SMOKING sign, people ignore it and still smoke. Authorities are turning a blind eye to that. Don't know why they make rules but they don't want to implement at all.

I don't know if anything can be done about lazy people that just can't be bothered to find a waste bin.

@jaboUK, it's almost impossible to change them. Teaching them the right thing should start from home, at a very young age. Sad to say some parents don't teach their children because they themselves are irresponsible.
