The Walking Dead and Itunes

So we have never had cable television. In the past, I have watched The Walking Dead on a sketchy website called couch tuner. It works. But it sometimes is a pain in the you-know-what. I was contemplating the iTunes season pass for the upcoming season of The Walking Dead.
I'm wondering how it works. There's no info right now.
I mean, when can I watch tonight's episode? Tonight? Or do I have to wait until tomorrow? If i have to wait, then I might just use the sketchy website. I'm impatient.
I splurged on Google FiberTV and was so disappointed to see with the extra money that AMC is not included.

We have pretty much basic cable and watch a lot of PBS things it seems.

we upgraded to cable for october baseball & was so disappointed that it doesn't include mac

we've lived without cable for many, many years, but this year we just upgraded so we could watch october baseball. it's really wrong that you can't watch your local team unless you have cable
