Do you take a break and do things you want?

I am shocked at the number of people who don't make a list of things they want to do and just do it. I made a list for the month of October and I plan on doing this each month from now on.
I don't have much money, but things like drive up north and see the leaves, check out a pumpkin patch, or go see a local band. The things can be endless really. I love going for drives so I tend to base most of mine around that. If I have a little extra money a month I will do something off WagJag, or Groupon like this month I had a coupon wine touring.
I was talking to a friend, and I can see the point as I was like this before. Not doing anything or just staying home after work. But I find I am much happier and enjoying everything.

I would love that! I have many years before I retire. I love a few days off to just see nature, get out of the house, or go for a drive. I find so many people are so negative because they don't do this.

I don't get to do things as often as I'd like to, but we do keep a list of things that we're planning to do.
I just added the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta to the list, although we won't be able to go until next year at the earliest. We also have a trip to a local aquarium on there, and riding a train to the Grand Canyon. My daughter wants to ride the Polar Express train this year, so we'll probably do that around Christmastime.
The only real issue is that I can't always predict when my health issues will flare up, so sometimes it's tough to plan things in advance. A lot of the time our outings are spontaneous because we take advantage of my good days. 
Oh, I've been meaning to thank you for mentioning all of the neat Groupon offers you've been getting. I've started looking and there are so many awesome deals in our area. I'm buying tickets for a Halloween balloon glow in our area, and we found discounted tickets to the children's museum too. I don't think I would have thought to look if you hadn't talked about them so often.
