Getting Darker Every Night

I just took a look outside around 6:40 P.M. and I was surprised how dark it was already. I guess we can't escape this part of the Fall. Will get even darker and darker when the clock is going to switch. My family who still lives in La Belle Province of Quebec is complaining that over there it is even earlier. I live in Ontario by the way. Do you like this kind of darkness so early at night?

Not really, here it's dark around 630, so about the same time as you. I hate the dark mornings when I'm at work more though, it feels like I'm going in the middle of the night.

No and I never really have, especially when I worked. Sometimes it would be dark when I got to work and dark when I left to go home.

Same thing when I was working, leaving in the dark and coming back in the dark.

I prefer long days to long nights. I wind up the day pretty early and never venture out. I not even go to our garden.

No, but there's not much we can do about it. It's one reason and probably the only reason I look forward to December, when it begins to switch back the other way. Unfortunately, this time of the year, it's barely noticeable when it's lighter a little longer every day. I think it takes until February or so before It's a bit enough difference. So, do you go by, Marie, or mimi? Maybe the latter is a nickname?

I put lights (little ones) around my sun porch with a timer. I noticed yesterday i need to change the timer and push it back an hour. It help keep my house brighter. I will set it from around 5 to 11 at night and have it set for an hours in the morning when I get up 6 to 7

It is just part of life. I like it well enough if I do not have anywhere to go and can sit all cozy with my computer.

It is dark around 6:15 pm now. I prefer when the days are a bit longer, but I do not like when I have to wait until 9:45 pm to see the night. The countries near the equator are lucky, day and night always come at the same hours all over the year.

It doesn't really bother me, as I'm not usually going anywhere in the evenings.
