Reading and Viewing get different experiences. Majority of the cinema are taken from written novels or history. If there is a good drama, poem, novel , historic one there are lot of readers. And about cinema worldwide viewers .
1. Which one is good medium?
2. Which is your choice?
3. Which one gives you true life experience and pleasure?

To me it depends with the content and the kind of the book. There was a time i read a book and then can across a movie of it. I did not love the movie

I prefer the book since you get attached to the characters more and you are paying attention. To the character's moods clothes thoughts. And if the director has invested his time into a good adaptation script and into finding the suitable actors who fit the description and not tweaked a bit too much in the script, then the movie might reach my expectations but still not cross it. For example dumbledore was exactly how I imagined him to be from my imagination :D

I enjoy a good horror or suspense novel before the movie itself
