Anyone Wear A Tie Without Having To?

I hate wearing neck-ties. I only use them for funerals, weddings or interviews and take mine off as soon as I find others are not wearing them or the moment I'm away from the interviews. Quite a few men seem to feel undressed without shirt and tie but I hate them. How do you feel about them? Ladies do you prefer men in ties or without one? Arthur Chappell

I have got a couple of clip on ties as well as the knotted variety though I think bow ties look stupid.

@arthurchappell not many can pull off a bowtie, Ducky on NCIS can, most it does look silly.

i reckon it depends 'pon the occasion 'n attire 'xpected? kinda like us gals 'n pantyhose.... fella's in ties make me uncomfy personally. i can feel 'em chokin' me jest't a glance.

@crazyhorseladycx reminds me of Hitchcock's movie Frenzy about a serial killer called the London Neck-tie strangler for obvious reasons
