Supernatural Seduction

The moment the flow enters your body, the moment the powers of others wash over your being, it's intoxicating and incredibly addicting. And once saturation occurs, there's no telling what your energy will do in response. In my case I manifested wings, that tore through my back and flowed into the world, invisible to the others as they crossed through the fabric of reality and embedded themselves in the natural order of the world. The power's flow seeks more of that energy, and before you know it you have it, and the power grows as it surrounded the world. It's now something easily described, because everything is attached yet nothing is. At the same time you are intricately connected to a greater presence, and you are aware of the fragile natural of the balance. Of course, the immediate feeling isn't awe of reality, but the absolute desire to crush it. To control it and make it bend to your will. And when you control more and more, the catalyst at the beginning becomes a small nibble, as you sink your teeth into the greater world. How many lives must you consume before you take your place in history as the worst power. Then it dawns on you, that your family would be included. Then you decide to give it up, and retract it all, and cannibalize your own wings. Of course, it isn't happy with that choice, and you suffer the rebound and withdrawal. That's the price of saving the world, and not letting yourself devour it all. After all, you'd only be giving them what they want. And you don't want them to have the satisfaction. How often can you give the whole world a reprieve from the supernatural seduction?

I don't know how happy you'd have been if my wings found their way to you as well! :D
