The Clouds Must Be Sad :(

My mother used to say to me when I was younger that it rained because the clouds got sad! It makes me laugh now to look back on that, but it is actually quite poetic. Either that or they are laughing so hard at me that clouds could not keep the laughing tears locked up LOL.
Anyway, it is raining a lot today here in the UK. So hope the clouds cheer up soon!

@cahaya1983 All made up stories and we believed. These stories came from my grandma and her mom and so on. Generational stories haha

I hope it soon clears up your way. It's been light rain here in Plymouth until about an hour or so, just cloudy now.

We had rain a few days ago. We really needed it (and some wind) to wash away the smoke from a nearby fire.

'tis that why? heck, i'm gonna need to get this clouds some anti-depressants! nearly 5" in 24hours...'gain. feast 'r famine. years'f drought in these parts 'n now when it rains, literally it pours. aint complainin', jest sayin' (sure'd dislike the rains to stop altogether 'gain - that was jest awful!).

It looks universal. Most asian kids are told that rain is tears of cloud.
