My Thankful Post

Today has been a good day. I like being back to slow and easy without all the fuss of the nursing home. Though I was very thankful to have their fussing as well, it helped me get out of there in a month's time instead of waiting out the full time of healing.
So anyway, today I found out my limitations when I took a shower and found my leg didn't like it too well.
I talked to a friend for over two hours and she said that I may not need a shower chair, just try the shower differently. I went in on my bad leg first, so next time try the good leg first and it should be better, if not, get the chair.
I got an appointment for my furnace to find out what the trouble is. It will be a free estimate and I will go from there. I have other options my friend also suggested.
I also called my benefit specialist because I was in the nursing home for a month, and I didn't lose my FoodShare, which is good.
I made more friends here and found some old ones.
I also had a nice two hour nap today.
Those are what I'm thankful for today. What are you thankful for?

O, so you got a problem with your furnace, my friend? Right now we are waiting for the electrician to check our electrical lines as some of our lights are not working. The bulbs are new.

@antonbunot I hope you get it fixed soon. The furnace guy was out earlier and might need a new motor.

Did you meant emoticons. Inn the post side you will see mylot code just do that while making comments. And if you wanted to do that just copy the emoticon you like from comment and post it in the post. Thats all

Its almost a day ago, hope you are feeling better. I am thankful for many things. I am a calmer person now. Things are hopefully moving in right direction for me. Finally. :) You see the comment box. Under it another thinner box before respond. To the left are myLot codes, and Add image. May be you need to check those codes for your emojis. :)

I do not know much about what took you to a nursing home but happy to read your post that has a positive feel.
I have enough to be in the attitude of gratitude every moment of the dayl.

I broke my leg and was in rehab at the nursing home. I'm glad to be home after a month being there.
