Just how many acornscan fall from a 50 year old Live Oak tree?

I don't know. I've lost count. I gathered for a hour just enough to put in a plastic bucket to save for the squirrels when winter comes. I will get more tomorrow. I had to use a rake and a broom to sweep the ones that were covering the sandy soil around the back of the porch in the back of our house. Dust was everywhere! I hated this but it was necessary. I have so far managed to use this mix of sandy soil, mixed with acorns and fallen leaves to fill a large tire trench created by a truck driving down the alley several months ago. He was driving recklessly and swerved into the back yard fence in the alley behind our house because it was a bit rainy that day. Then I got tired, especially once I noticed I was being bitten by tiny ants, trying to go underground for the winter at the base of the cement back steps. The sky looks like rain. One can only hope. It will clear the dust from the air and give us a free car wash! I'm thirsty so I better drink plenty of ice cold purified water before I dehydrate. Toodles Until I can make some noodle poodle pie. That is an old saying I heard as a kid.
