Do you know someone on SNAPS benefits?

I know someone who sent in his renewal application early, but, the program did not send him anything or set up an appointment. If he had not been curious he would be waiting till the day his benefits should begin and find he has none. I think this is wrong. Have you heard of any such thing, especially in Texas?

I guess I am asking if you think the program changes its methods to make it harder for people to receive benefits?
