Justifications for breaking the mylot guidelines!

I do love to keep an eye open for people breaking the rules, both here and on other sites- Naturally it is admin's call what stays and goes, but, largely I do have a pretty good eye for seeing what breaks the rules. This type of site, I think, is all about the community, and such, we all have a responsibility to watch each others backs and make sure what happens here complies with the guidelines. One of the things that I like to identify is the justification as to why a person has broken the rules - some times it is blatantly obvious that they do not care, as in people who spam loads about their double glazing company - they are only doing it to drive revenue to their site. Some people are ignorant of the rules, are new or not aware of changes in the rules, and these need a gentle nudge towards the community guidelines. Other people though, some of their excuses are rather interesting, some recent examples are: Com' on bro - we are both trying to screw the system. . I only did it as I was bored! I only stole the content as I like it so much and want to share with the world, I don't care about the money or rules!

At Bubblews a lot of stolen content came from members who didn't know much English. I suspect some of those people weren't even capable of reading the rules.

There always has been and always will be those who try to cheat the system. They do it because they can.

They can try - I doubt very much that they ever achieve much by breaking the rules!

@destry They don't do it for the money - they do it just for the heck of it - to show everyone they can.

Those cheaters are the same who ruined Bubblews, I keep an eye on them, I remember your futile excuses. They know that they doing something wrong, they do not care, they only hope not to get discovered.

Yes, I can safely say I've seen all of those excuses.

Keep up the good work of doing this and encouraging others. I have had two identical messages from an obvious scam but couldn't delete them.

I'm not a rule breaker, and I read the rules, but even I broke one on accident and the post was deleted. It was a lesson learned.

You say you are not a rule breaker but you broke a rule? Sorry, makes no sense to me.

@destry It was a post without discussion, and didn't realize it was against the rules, even when I had read them, I didn't see anything about that.
