Lions Disappearing From Africa

Since 1992, lions have been disappearing in large numbers, especially from West Africa. Scientists predict that in the next 20 years, lions will be halved in numbers. This is so sad, for such a majestic, regal creature. I guess man can be blamed for this.
Lions are disappearing from large swaths of the African landscape, largely as a result of conflicts with humans and poaching of their prey species, new research suggests.

Pretty sad. Especially if morally corrupt political leaders are making money from their gradual extinction.

This is really sad. I read somewhere that the governments there gained a lot of money from trophy hunting.
