While interacting here in Mylot I have noticed one thing that if you go on writing regularly in a language other than your mother tongue, your fluency in speaking that language gets improved.I can now speak in English more fluently than I could before joining sites like Mylot.
Have you ever experienced such improvement in your spoken English?

@Jessicalynnt,I agree. Here there are many who are not native English users. They participate here in interaction, but think little while interacting with others. The don't take pains to think what words should be used and how to use them while typing their responses and comments etc. That's why they don't get benefited.

@Jessicalynnt Certainly. They deprive themselves from the a benefit.Interacting with an open mind is the key.

@destry,Is not English your mother tongue?Mine is Hindi. And my experience is just the opposite of yours.People around me are Hindi speakers.I don't have a conducive environment that may improve my fluency in spoken English. But after joining Mylot and participating here regularly I see an improvement in speaking this language.

I think you speak quite well! I am amazed at how well people from other countries learn English, which is a difficult language. I wish I spoke another language, but I do not. My son married a woman from Ecuador, and he has learned Spanish in the last five years, and can converse quite well in it. I watch him chatting away in Spanish, and I am stunned.
