Is it possible as the title says? With global crisis, people find it very hard to make ends meet. Many have to rob Peter to pay Paul to be able to survive. Many companies closed down and had to dismiss some of their employees just to cut corners on their expenses. What do you say to this?

It must be hard when your hours are different every week. When we were younger and broke most of the time we found if we planned ahead, did the groceries only once a week planning the meals ahead, we saved money every week, didn't throw it away on whims - fast food, coffee, soda or booze, and we never used a credit card, those credit cards will kill you because the interest is so high. Now we have lots of credit cards but pay them off every month so there is no interest added.

Yes, I think using credit cards may lead one to be debt strangled when one cannot use it properly. I found many users did not pay the bills in full causing the interest to be in arrears. Also the increase in prices moves faster than the rise of one's salaries.

@yanzalong I am prouwd of my children that are adults. One doesn't have a credit card because he knows he will be too tempted to use it and can't afford it. The other two have cards but pay them off every month - no interest is wasted in the family.

What makes people rob Peter to pay Paul is because cost of living is higher than their income. As a result, certain people have to commit crime.
