Book or e-Book?

I have just arrived home from the mall this evening. I feel bored at home so I quickly went to the mall to shop books. If only I have enough money then I would buy more books. I just picked one. They are pricey. I love collecting this kind of stuff and read during leisure. My friend told me that if I wish to read more without spending huge expense, I should pick an e-book since there are free e-Books can be seen online. Other E-books aren't for free, but they only cost in moderate pricing. However, I am still fascinated with books than e-Books. What about you? Which one do you like? Book or e-Book?

I can read either, but e-books don't require a bookcase. And there are lots of free e-books available online.

I personally prefer books more. I like the feeling of holding a book in my hand. I also like being able to turn back to pages easily. But e-books are so convenient now and they are cheaply available. That's the only perk to e-books, in my opinion. If I couldn't get free books, I wouldn't even bother with e-books.

@iamshane487,I have been a book lover since my adolescence.Books allure me.I buy books whenever I can afford. So far as e-books are concerned,I resort to them only when I have no alternative.Traditional, printed books are my love.

I prefer real paper book a lot more. Anyway, if you want to download some free e-books, there is a program you can run on your PC to read them, you do not need to own a Kindle.

I will be dragged into e-books kicking and screaming. It doesn't have the same experience or the same appeal to me with reading. I just like the sensations of the actual books in my hand and reading it. The entire feel of the book in my hand. Not to say e-books don't have their merits, because they do. Would like a lot easier to look up research information with some searching function, then to thumb through a book like they did in the old days. For actual reading for my own enjoyment, I don't see any enjoyment reading on an electronic device. I know why I like and it will make me weep if actual physical books disappear. Cost is not worth my loss of actual enjoyment.

I love trees because they give homes to birds, gives us fresh air and saves us from landslides. I am sure you already know what is my answer to this ongoing debate. I will go for ebooks because of all the trees we can save from being cut down.

I have a Kindle and I get a lot of free books to read. I also pay $9.99 or less for some e-books. I love my Kindle, it is easy to take with me to appointments and such. I hate to sit at the doctors office and wait my turn without my Kindle.

Now I am in-love of eBooks. Your friend is right, there are so many books fro free online. But when I read a very interesting eBook, I want a softbound copy of it. :)

I like both but I like the convenience of an ebook the most. I can download books from anywhere and like you said, they are either free or cheaper.

I go to the local library and get my books to read or listen to while I work. I don't like the clutter of too many books so I don't ever buy them anymore.

I only buy real books these days if they are really cheap or I want to use it as a reference book and I think I will read something from it frequently.

Reading is a good habit I prefer to spend money in this aspect. I like buying books for my son because he can learn a lot from it. Besides, reading books is better than ebooks because reading from the digital stuff is harmful for the eyesight.

I like both Books and E-books. I have just spent a few days in the UK and I took my little E-book reader. It is so much lighter and easier to take than books and it remembers where I got to when I shut it down. On my reader I have about ten books but I could put hundreds on it and it would still weigh just the same.

I have no problem with ebooks, but I need to have a standard device for that, which I don't have right now. Books are great too, but now I can't buy more as there is no space at home to keep them.

I have been reading mostly eBooks. I do read real books, I have been reading Mayflower, actually I am re-reading it. Bought it mostly to learn more about my ancestors, the Winslows. There is not much detail about them, it has all the Pilgrims in there. Sometimes when I'm reading eBooks, and I'm in bed, I will doze off and knock myself in the head with the tablet!
