Turning hobbies into a home business.

My husband and I recently found out we are pregnant and both only work part-time. I personally am a very creative when it comes to sewing, crocheting, and other various crafts. I have been donating my creations to various charitys, resource centers, and missions for years. I have had many people comment on my creations saying I could make some money for them. Does anyone have some friendly advice and tips on how I could turn this hobbie into a small home business? Nothing major though because we do have a baby on the way.

Congratulations on the forthcoming addition! You might try Etsy. There are some here who use the site and would be able to give you more information. I believe that it's a reliable site though I have seen some say that the charges are rather high. It's worth looking into, however. Other opportunities might be through local crafts/art shops. My wife sells Christmas wreaths through a shop in town which carries many things from local potters, jewellery makers and so on. They take a small commission and send the money when the goods are sold.
Buy and sell handmade or vintage items, art and supplies on Etsy, the world's most vibrant handmade marketplace. Share stories through millions of items from around the world.

@DaisyBlaze Congratulations to you and your husband. Babies are such blessings. I would start by looking at etsy or Homemade Crafts. Both site are good. Do some research before you decide which one or ones to join. Good luck.
