Here I go again with more sweet snacks... Have you heard of this iconic chocolate biscuits from Australia? They are now also available in several countries worldwide. They have a wide range of varieties but the basic composition is: 2 layers of of chocolate malted biscuit, separated by a light chocolate cream filling, and coated in a thin layer of textured chocolate. The other day they're on sale in my local grocery store at 2 for $5 (I think it's a saving of $1 each). So I got 4 different kinds - the 3 pictured are the limited edition ones plus one more not pictured is the Classic White for my one son who does not like chocolate.

These are great biscuits aren't they? I rarely buy them as I can't resist polishing them all off in record time.

@JudyEv Did you see them during your travels around Europe? I'm not sure what other countries they're available in. I know I've seen them in stores of some south-east Asian countries...

@Jessicalynnt I'm dying to tell someone about the Three Bean ! They're soooo good - perfect combination of vanilla bean cream filling, coffee bean biscuits, and cocoa bean chocolate.

Good thing they have that kind or my first born would have probably never wanted any TimTam no matter how Australian it really is...

@hereandthere The Classic White is perfect for him - there's nothing chocolate in them. The biscuits and cream filling are vanilla flavored...

The one in the middle, the Three Bean, is hard to find even here. That particular kind is only sold exclusively at Woolworths, one of the major supermarket chain in the country...

we love Tim Tams as well - they are imported from Australia so we pay quite a bit for them here $5 each - so you would be getting a saving.

Wow, that's quite expensive. There are probably no more than a dozen biscuits in a package - so, it's like 40 cents for each piece of the cookie.

We can get them in Alberta. I don't know about different varieties. The ski hills here seem to be all staffed by Australians so maybe that's why it's available here.
