Because someone is taking a few days off at the store where I work part-time, I worked a day or two extra this week, Tuesday, Wednesday and today. So Thursday was a day off. The thing I did not plan on was Anne catching a cold and feeling pretty bad all day.
My day off was spent as a day "on" at home, mopping the kitchen floor, doing two loads of wash, preparing lunch, doing some shopping, cooking dinner and doing dishes.
I even managed to spend some time on Mylot. I will be back to work at 11 this morning. Luckily, my shifts are only five to seven hours usually. Anne feels better this morning and I am glad of that

This reminds me that I need to get some things done here. I hate it when the people around me feel bad.

Glad to know that Anne is feeling better, hopefully she feels good enough for the weekend. I wish i had your hours and i could actaully get more things done around my house. I work between 40-45 hours a week. I do what i can around my house, but most of the time when im done at work im pretty tired when i get home and dont have the energy to keep going and going and getting the things done.
All though last night i left work early andw as able to get my entire room dusted and swept and got two loads of laundry done. This wknd i have to get the living room and kitchen cleaned, swept and mopped and try and finish the laundry, Not sure how much i will get done as i have to get some work stuff done for work while at home and help my family with things going on with them.
Always pretty busy, but i just keep going and going and never stop like the energizer bunny LOL.

Ain't it fun doing all the housework? Do it every day and see how much fun it is. Good of you to help your wife and I'm glad she is feeling better.

Anne is a lucky girl. If I'm sick the mopping and laundry just don't get done!
