Troubles This Morning

My desk top died this morning while I was getting the Daily Bible Study started. I found I hadn't saved the current file to Dropbox so things are a mess to say the least. I'm back on my laptop, with more problems as I didn't have Internet access for several hours until I figured out how to get that working as well, and as you can see I succeeded.
My laptop has its own problems which I can do nothing about. I will be looking into getting a new desktop as soon as possible, and doing what I can to retrieve files from the hard drive on the desktop so I haven't lost everything. The good news is that all my books are in Dropbox so I haven't lost any of those.
That's the news from this morning. Now I'm going to get busy with the Daily Bible Study.

I really miss my desktop. I almost had a new tower, but life happened, so I need to save again and hope this laptop works until I get it.

As much as we love and use our computers, they still can let us down. I hope you can get a back up soon. I am glad your books were saved, though.

Can I say I hate computers? Dropbox is a great backup program, however, my desktop was dying a lot earlier than it finally did - just like that site we all used to be on and is no more. My latest work done on the desktop for my novel, didn't get saved to Dropbox so I need to retrieve everything from the hard drive. I can't wait to get a NEW computer.

hi my old desktop has not had a problem in a year and my son the computer programmar and expert repairs mine for me but in the same time his laptop destructed got a new one and for m y one repair he had five or six re pairs he has a tablet now and its really nice wish i had one but I love m y old desk top lol but having a tablet in case wou ld be nice but I would have to learn ow to use it lol

If anything happens to my desk top I'm up the creek as I don't have a laptop as a backup.

@just4him (1227), Valerie, sorry about the problems. I know that is a pain in the head when it does. When you get your new desktop, look into getting one of those things that does all the changing over from one computer to the other for you. It is well worth the money. They have them on QVC. Love you and miss finding your devotions.
