I boosted a post on Facebook

I have a Facebook page called, "My Bipolar World" and today I boosted my first post. I'm giving it 24 hours to see if it makes a difference or not. I generally don't do that, but this post was important and I hope it helps. Please send any good vibes and prayers my way. I'm working on so many things at the moment. I applied to Baskin Robbins again. I applied several months ago, got an interview, and never heard back. To be fair I was asking for a cake decorating job, and they weren't hiring, but now they are. I'm praying I get the job. I have until Monday morning to figure out what to do about the electricity bill. I wish I had something of value to sell or a great idea would come to mind. I'll just keep trying, and hopefully something good will happen.

Good luck to you. I know how hard it is when you are trying to get ahead. I was that way when I was divorced with two children. Think positive and go out and look for a few jobs and put in applications. Sometimes you might have to work at something other than you want but at least you will get money to keep you going until the right job comes along.

I don't care, I just want a job. I have an idea for how to make money on the side, but I need some money to start it. I make diaper cakes, like this one. However, I need to pay my bills off first before starting.

@ramapo17 I was thinking about making an instructional video. In the middle is an empty paper towel roll. Then I rolled diapers tightly and wrapped them with rubber bands. I started from the inside out and made circles with them and wrapped each layer with a ribbon. The top layer is washcloths in the colors that the mom chose. I embellished it used little decorations and a bow I handmade. Then I topped it with that cute little elephant. I really want to make more.

@cpefley I've done a bit of job hunting and heard a bit of silence in return. I hope things turn around for you soon. And good luck on Facebook.

I wish I had some advice to offer you, but I don't. So all I can say is that I wish you luck and hope both things work out for you.

I hope the tide turns soon in your favour. Don't be dejected, assume you that you are waiting for a much higher role. In the mean time take up any job that can manage your expenses.

I am trying to do that right now, but it is consuming. I don't have enough to pay one bill, let alone all of them. I'm trying though! I hope today is a good day.

Does boosting pages cost money on Facebook? I get that message on my writing group's page (that I manage) all the time but figure it costs and we don't need 'likes' that badly.

It does. The minimum is $5. I set a budget of $10 over the course of 24 hours and so far they have used $2.50 to boost my post and it has reached 383 people. I have 1200 followers but my posts usually don't even make it to 50! I didn't limit my post to my followers though. It is sent to random people.
