A Dr. Phil-isim that I love!

Dr. Phil has a lot of 'isms' or Phil-isms I call them. My favorite, that he says frequently, is "This isn't my first rodeo"...I love that one and it can be used in a variety of ways.
This site for example - this isn't my first rodeo. I've been involved with online article writing sites and sites like myLot since 2008. Sure, each has its own set of nuisances, but basically you:
* Read about it first
* Sign up when you're sure it's for you
* Carefully read the rules/guidelines
* Check out some of the articles/discussions/posts
* Get a feel for how things go
* Start writing
* Enjoy!
Once you get started here at myLot you'll see it's basically the same rodeo but with a few differences. Maybe a horse or two of a different color.
So, new or old, not your first rodeo or it is...have fun here!

I would add don't get upset if you run afoul of the rules, we all miss things, and mistakes can be made! Just apologize, learn what you missed, like an adult, and move on

I do read reviews about sites if they are new, but I am most likely to rely on the recommendations of people I trust. But, you're right. Most of these sites are smiliar in enough ways that it isn't like doing something completely foreign, You just have to review the rules because there qwill be little differences which could throw you.

From what I've heard it's much different here now than it was 8 years ago. I never knew this site existed until a few months ago.
