How would you define myLot?

What exactly is myLot? MyLot isn't a writing site. This isn't like Associated Content/Yahoo Voices or Examiner. It's not a site where you get paid to write. On the other hand it's not exactly a Facebook type place because we do earn money. Is it a social site? Social Media site? What? If someone were to ask you to define myuLot how would you do it?

we need to make up a term, I honestly don't think the ones out there fit.

I make up words all the time for things but they usually aren't repeatable.

I'd say it is a something I do to make a little money with my computer and then move my fingers up and down like I was air typing.

MyLot is a combination of a forum and a social media writing site. It's not about the writing. It's about discussions, but not on any particular topic, like on a forum. I suppose social media is the most accurate label, but it's a pretty broad category.

I see it as a place to come to, to interact with friends, have fun and make money while doing it!

I tend to refer to it as a social blog site. It really is difficult to give it a label, isn't it. That adds to it's popularity I guess.

I think Val got it right. I would not know how else to describe it.

I am sure somebody will come up with some clever name for it.
