I think that is a term used universally. In the sense that love can make you ignore a lot of signs about the other person that my be bad, it can be blind.

Okay, thank you. I will edit my post. Yes, you are right that love can make us ignore a lot of signs from others...Even signs from our parents, friends and co-workers...

It is very interesting that this term is available everywhere. We have the same saying here. I think it is quite true. When people in love, they can't see or think logically.
