I Think Fall Arrived

I have struggled to get our heater turned down so that I am not too hot. Well, we had a cold front come through and I can appreciate the heat. I can use the furnace or I can wear more clothes, or both.
This weather makes me want to go back to bed, but I will not, at least not yet. I have a warm bed if I need it.
I have coffee, and food. I am really blessed. Do you ever think about how many good things you have in your life?
By the standards in my country I am far from wealthy, but I can be warm, fed, and I can be online. I feel thankful, because I know others are not so fortunate.

every time I start thinking woe is me, I remember a time when our place was so terrible, if it snowed, we found it inside

@GardenGerty they very much are, we no longer need to worry about weather inside the place we live in. not sure i can call that old place a 'home'.

It is the winter time here ,but not cold enough to turn on an air-conditioning .I admire you for the way "enough is as good as a feast ".

I like that saying. I probably could have done well without the heat until this week. I am anxious to see what the weather is like in my new community.

I am very thankful for my blessings. I'm far from wealthy too but I do have a roof over my head, food on the table, and a nice warm house. I'm also blessed with a wonderful family

Yes you are right, others are not very fortunate as we are here. I feel grateful for what I have got in life, and all thanks to my parents who raised me in a good environment properly.
Winter is advancing everywhere now, so keep warm and happy mylotting!
