Are you a rapper or wrapper?

I don't rap, never got into that kind of music...but, I do wrap! As a matter of fact I just wrapped some gifts. First I had to pick up some cheap wrapping paper at the Dollar General before I could start. The gifts are for the dog and she pulls the paper off herself so no sense buying the good wrapping paper! Since the gifts we buy are for each other and the dog, we pretty much don't spend a lot of money on the paper...from across the room you can't tell if it is $3 paper or $15 paper. I'd rather spend the extra $12 on the person not the wrappings. Are you a rapper or a wrapper? Photo belongs to me

I am not into rap either. I stocked up on wrapping paper a few years ago. It was a great deal.

I used to stock up when I had lots of gifts to wrap. I used to stock up on cards too but now I buy as I go.

I'm country music all the way. I wrapped and left the paper out for my husband, so far he didn't get the hint.

I'm our family's wrapper. My husband picks out gifts, but he always leaves me to do the wrapping. And of course I help the kids wrap their gifts for each other. About the only presents that my husband touches to wrap are the ones for me. Well, there was that one time when he decided to be sneaky and made me wrap my own gift... it was in a plain brown box so I had no idea until later what he'd done. If you have a Dollar Tree nearby, they have a great selection of paper for $1 per roll. I've gotten several Disney character rolls from there, and that's where I tend to get all the birthday paper I use, too. Occasionally I'll get a really nice pattern from a more expensive place if I find it in the after holiday clearance sections. But why spend more than necessary when it's just going into the recycling after it comes off the package?

No dollar tree in this area at all. I bought one big roll for $3 that will do me this year! They have $1 rolls also.

I couldn't in good conscience spend too much on wrapping paper. It lasts - ten seconds? before it's ripped off the discarded.

I wouldn't spend much on wrapping paper. It's not something I do. When I was young our presents were wrapped in brown paper which I thought was really nice. Mum wouldn't have had the money for wrapping paper.

@Marilynda1225 I've been known to open a big brown paper bad and color it and use that to wrap kids gifts (years ago)

I am a Baby Boomer, so not a rapper, just a wrapper! Actually a bragger! I buy gift bags or gift cards! I can no longer afford to buy what my five teenage grandkids want so they get money! I have two nieces that are also like our grandkids, my sister is 45 and I am 65 so my parents were older when she had kids, so we adopted them as grandkids too, they call us Grannie and Grampa! I so love kids, they are the light of my life!

I am a wrapper! Which reminds me that I need to wrap my sister's Christmas gifts before she gets here next week because I won't see her until after Christmas. I have to see if I need wrapping paper.

I like hearing rap but i can't rap though ! And i am a wrapper too , although i do it simply , no more ribbons , because that too will still be an additional cost , because anyway what is important is the gift itself . I can see that you and your husband love your dogs so much .

Actually neither. Here there's no need to wrap, the pets don't really care about wrapped items and I'm the only 2legger here so why bother.

I don't care for rap--but I prefer wrapping gifts. My Mom sticks everything in bags -- what's the fun in that?

I am a wrapper and bought some nice paper yesterday at Michaels as they were having a huge sale. I used to have a cat that would rip open any presents left under the tree so we had to stop putting them there. She put a damper on the whole Santa thing LOL

When I was single and rich I did, but not now - it's a waste for me.
