How many times do you exercise per week?

I was exercising 4 times a week before I started work. Now I can only find time to do it max twice a week and even then I find myself skipping it now and again. I wish I had more energy after work or before work to do more cardio exercise. I am going to some now and it will be the only time this week I have exercised!! So bad!

6 days a week, with a rest on every Monday!! I make sure that in those 6 days I push my body to the limits!!!

I wish I could at least push myself to the limit when I do exercise. I just finished mine and hardly had energy to push myself.

I wish I could exercise. I used to love going to the gym. But I am disabled and can't do a lot of exercises right now.

@gudheart I can walk sometimes, depending on how I feel. I have also found chair aerobics that I can do from my office chair.

@simone10 That is good that you can still manage to do exercise. I might try chair aerobics one day :D

Ok if I go back in time I was excising daily with maybe a Friday or Saturday off. I would run, ran for many years doing marathons/half marathons and triathlons. If I was in training for say the London Marathon my training would take me up to doing 120 miles a week at the peek of it all but normally around 40/50 miles. I would swim 5 days a week doing 80 lengths per day.Plus cycling too. Now days I just walk, not much to what I once did. I really need to get back into doing more but I know that so often is hard to do.

That is impressive that you used to do regular exercise. I just finished mine and hardly pushed myself :(

It's pretty irregular for me (not good I know), but I try to do it a few times a week especially walking.

I really need to at least walk more. I work in an office so I sit down most of the day.

I'm on the little and often principle - I walk round the village twice a day at the weekends and whenever I'm at home. It's about a mile and a half each time.

@gudheart I walk around the office as much as I can too. Get a fitbit - it changes your life.

I can only exercise every other day, due to some health problems, but I don't always do it even then. I feel better when I do, though.

Good for you. Everyday I go to work and go home on foot. It spends me about 70 minutes for round trip. And therefore everyday I will walk at least over 10000 steps. So I regard it as my daily exercise. I heard that walking fast is even much more effective, I will try it, too.

Exercising is a virtuous circle. If you're lacking in energy then exercising will actually boost your overall energy levels so that lack of energy stuff is nothing more than an excuse . I'm managing 5 exercise sessions per week at the moment. Due to my recent acquisition I also need to find time for a couple of dog walks per day too!!

Well, you are doing much better than me. I rarely exercise at all so it's on wonder I'm getting stiff.
