Goodbye Bubblers

Just tried to log on to BB, and received a message that the site is no more. It's officially shut down. We all should have seen the writing on the wall, but many of us held out hope that things could be turned around. It was all to no avail. I feel bad for all the bubblers who were waiting on payouts and eagerly awaiting their hard-earned money. On the flip side, I'm happy to see so many of my BB friends on this site. Let's remain positive and move forward, and give this site our full support and attention!

I was on the waiting list for 6 months, but for me its a relief that I moved from the waiting list to a greener pasture called myLot. I won't compare the two as it cannot be done, but I am personally glad that I don't have to wonder if I'll ever be paid again from that site. Adios is all that I can think of saying to them.

There was always the hope that it would turn out better in the end, but the end was pretty dreadful. The beginning had been so promising.

Not surprised that it closed down. It was mismanaged and could never recover.

I'm not too sad the site is gone since they made it very hard to get paid, fortunately, I still have all my articles so I can re-upload them to other sites to earn money from my writing.

Make sure you check the rules on all the sites you plan on uploading all your old BB articles to. Some sites do not allow this. I would hate to see you get penalized over a rule violation! But, you were very smart to save all your articles!

@moffittjc I don't think I will look for any new sites now, and the articles from BB were long and not suitable for here. I'll stay with the chit chat, I am enjoying that.

I am also happy to see so many Bubblers have moved here. Like you, however, I feel sorry for the people who are still owed money.

Wouldn't that be everyone? At some time another, Bubblews shorted many of us on what was fully owed. I even got e-mails back from Arvind reassuring he'd pay me. This was way before their declaration of oops. Then they'd pay me in $10 increments, like an installment plan. That was my first inkling something wasn't right.

I was just thinking the same thing! This morning, I contemplated writing an article on BB encouraging all my friends to take a look at this site. The only reason I didn't was because it seemed like absolutely no one was on Bubblews today. I hope most of them eventually find their way over to this site!

@T_gray It will be interesting tomorrow to see if there is a huge spike in new users on this site! It won't be long before this site is flooded with posts about the demise of BB.

I'm glad i received my payout this month before the site shut down. I left after i got paid and just spent most of my time here.

I had recently gotten paid as well. Although, I did still keep writing on BB just about everyday (including today). I guess old habits die hard! lol

Once upon a time it was an amazing site. But like @zebra2222 said, the site was mismanaged, and the owners ran it into the ground.

I was thinking the same thing. I hope they really have figured out their algorithms correctly on the payout rates!

@fufurinha Over the next few days or so, we should see an influx of former bubblers migrating over to this site, so I'm sure there will be a lot of new members soon!

I wasn't anywhere close to being able to submit for payment, so I never really counted on ever getting paid, but I did enjoy all the friends I met on that site.

I have no idea if it was around for as long as myLot, but I don't think it was. They were paying out at such ridiculously high rates that there was no way it could be sustainable for more than a few years.

I lost $35 on that site so I am glad to see the back of it. At least here we will lose much less if things turn bad, since the payments are made on $10.

I had absolutely no idea that Bubblews is no more until I logged into Facebook and saw a post from someone saying that the site is no more. I couldn't believe it so went to the Bubblews website and saw that message, which confirmed that the site has shut down. Wish I had known about this beforehand so I could have saved my recent posts into Word. Now I will never get them back, which is sad.
