Do you see the deer here? Neither did we, at first. Last night we went out to the market and it was after dark These trees are less than a block from our home. There was a small doe trying to safely cross the road here. She waited until we were past. This is within sight of the highway, just on through the roundabout. When I turn the corner when walking it is not unusual for me to see a cat up under these Eastern Red Cedar trees. I also hear things. This is a good shelter for wild life.

I cannot make out a deer in this picture, but I believe you that there is one there. They are so beautiful to see, but can cause so much damage when they get into areas with traffic.

Most of the time there is very little traffic. It is like a forest of cedars there and "creatures" hide in it a lot. I think she was trying to go across the road for more open grazing.

That's pretty good that the deer wait to cross the road. The deer around here haven't developed that skill.

No, definitely can't see a deer. How wonderful that you have them close by. Here you have to go right into the thinks of the forest - unless they are being farmed for venison.

Well that patch of evergreens is basically a forest. Someone near here farms Elk. I will have to get better pictures of them as they are in a fenced enclosure.

No, I don't see a deer! It must have scampered fast behind those bushes!

Those bushes are so thick and deep I would get lost if I went in there. She seems to know her way around

It's fall now. When I see deer crossing the road in Spring, I generally come to a full stop, because two small fawns often follow.
