In the previous post i mentioned that strong alcohol can be either distillate or rectificate depending on technology of making. In Soviet Russia, when the government took control over alcohol production and selling, many creative people start making home-distilled vodka. Why? Not to pay money for buying it, enjoy the process of producing it, have up to 90 percent strong liquid (instead of vodka's 40), have more natural liquor. The easiest way to get raw materials (wash) is to take only sugar, yeast and water. Then anyone, who has distiller and knows technology, can get several bottles of white liquid up to 90 percent strong. The most exciting thing while making it is you can fire the resulting liquid and it will burn with a blue flame. The funniest thing that you can add chicken dropping, like any fruits, for production because it is full of some useful organic matter. Some people still make business by selling home-distilled vodka to people of low socilal class. My grandmother, like some other people from Soviet period, still has the distiller. She used to produce it several times, but she used bottles of ready strong drink to pay friends or relatives for some good offices. Once i tried home-distilled vodka, but it was very strong.

I love vodka, but I think this would be too strong for me! :)

I assume it's entirely illegal to do this.
