What Do You Know About Our Moon?

Did you know that our moon is just slightly larger than the "planet" Pluto, which some say is NOT a planet after all. Our moon seems very large because it is very close to the Earth, about 240,000 miles.
Our moon is the Earth's closest neighbor in space. The next closest neighbor is Venus, about 100 times as far away as the moon.
The Moon is actually the only other body in space that has been visited by humans. Astronauts from the U.S. first landed on the moon on July 20th, 1969, almost 50 years ago.
The moon has no air or water and the gravity of the moon is much less than on Earth. We need to take better care of the Earth, because it is the only place we have to live. No other planet is fit for human or any other kind of life, according to scientists.

Yes, we are traveling around the sun at an amazingly fast speed.

@IreneVincent How fast is the sun moving at the same time?
Can I make a suggestion?

@Bluedoll The whole Universe is in motion.
Sure, make a suggestion. I'm new here and am still learning what to do on this site.
