When things seem to go wrong

It seemed that everything that we did( my husband and I ) threatened to go wrong yesterday. We wanted to book a cab for our son to take him to the airport but forgot for some reason and when we tried to, it was so late and there weren't any cabs available immediately.
We drove him ourselves and it seemed to be a blessing in disguise.. the whole route was jammed with traffic and somehow.. my husband managed to get through all the by lanes and still reach the airport in time. I wonder if the cab driver would have done the same and taken all those risks.
My son was so dejected last month when he failed to make it to a national level quiz.. he lost the first place by two points. We told him to forget about it and focus on his studies. A couple of days he was called as a special candidate to attend the national level quiz because he lost by the slightest margin. Which was why we were driving him to the airport in the first place.
This afternoon he called to tell us that he won the second place in the quiz. He wasn't even prepared for it as the call came hours before the event.
I always tell him all things work together for our good. It seems when things seem to go wrong .. its not the end.. better things are waiting in store for us.. I have always believed that and it always happens that way.

I agree with that 100%. I have things going on right now, that really seem hopeless, but in essence they really aren't, as I know good will come out of them, if only I keep believeing and hang onto the hope that is in Jesus Christ. I always tell Jesus to help my unbelief and turn it around, as i don't want to disbelieve anything that I shouldn't. I know that I will be okay, and that everything will be taken care of.

@sofssu Oh I am sure that it was. I always hate driving in the rain. Well, at least he is happy.

first of all congratulation for your son second prize in quiz competition, than god you take him safely and on time because when we have no time then we most of time doing short cut and in it forget something or it going wrong but its all upon god who not do that thing.when everything going wrong then we cant sse that thing which is even in front of us but we dont loose hope and go ahead with positive mindset, you son got second prize without much preparation then if he prepare then definelty come first but best of luck next time, even second is not bad.
