Yet another day of minimalist activity. I changed another light bulb, the second one to need replacing in about a week. I wonder if thee electrics in the house have made some kind of suicide pact.
My old cat Smudge was taken to the vets for a check up as she has started to show some kidney deterioration, but her condition has stabilized since her last check up. She has one more check up left to go this year.
I left this diary entry until late hoping something more exciting might have happened but no joy.

My friend Allen went to California for a week--I drive him to and pick him up at airport and the rest of the time I have the car. I haven't had my own car since 2004 (see the picture) and I had that for 23 years. Having a car I go crazy--today I have already taken him and Mike to the airport--pick up my turkey for Thursday with ALL the trimmings--went to the dentist--post office--Home Depot to get plant food and a Poinciana--went to see a couple of old friends--and that was only up to 3 PM--I am making up for your minimalist activity!

@arthurchappell Some pets seem to pick up on all sorts of subtle clues even if there is no cage involved.

I got a few things done, and while the fence fiasco still has me sick (we just dont have the money) I had paid off a bunch on the CC's so back on this will have to go and I will just have to keep on trying to pay them off
