When I go for clinical study as a volunteer, the doctors and nurses will explain that all the volunteers will be known as subjects.
That means from that time on, they will know us a Subject 123 or Subject 456 or whatever number they want to call us.
This method is good in a sense.
It keeps the study in a strictly clinical and scientific arena. However, I am quite sad to see that humans are downgraded to the level of the animals.
After all, when animals are used in scientific studies, they do not have individuality or names too.
I think that is the same that senior management in a company views the rest of the workforce.
All of us are just numbers in the statistics.

i think they gave all to number because its easy to feed entry and also easy for remember but if you go for study then just think for it don't think how they see ,one day you become senior then you also do same thing.

The reason for not using names is not about data entry.
When they put into reports, they want only statistics, and charts.
They want to say that 10% of the subjects get this effect or 50% of the subjects do not get well.
I think turning humans into numbers is part of the culture in many countries now.
In term of business, it is always about the bottom line, and never about people.
