Exercises for flat stomach - Lesson 1 - Crunches!!

Staying fit is one of the most important part of the lives specially with the current times where diseases and illness are so much around!! There are many abdominal exercises with the Crunches being the most common!! But you have to understand that there is a certain diet to be associated too!! Till your calorie intake is not less than what you lose during workout, it won't matter how hard you work!! Having said that, Let's get to the topic:- For a flat abdominal region, you can do 3 types of crunches!! 1) The regular Crunch :- Lie down on the mat, flat on your back, and put your hand behind your neck!! then lift your upper torso just enough till it causes some pressure on your belly!! Repeat it till you feel exhausted!! Take rest for 2 minutes and repeat!! Don't start with too much and slowly increase it day by day!! 2) The lift crunch :- All the things are the same as above, just one difference that you have to fold your knees too and keep them just above your lower abdominal region!! 3) The cycle bend :- Lay flat on your back, fold your knees above your lower abdominal region, keep your hands behind your neck!! Then get up by pushing your left elbow towards your right knee, go back, then push your your right elbow towards your left knee!! Keep doing this until your reach your limit!! Take rest for 2 minutes and start again!! Staying fit is one of the most important part of the lives specially with the current times where diseases and illness are so much around!! Thanks @rationalwriter for the tips. Some of the tips you have mentioned we do in our Morning Stretch Program at the Community Center. Will try out the rest as I need to flatten my tummy. Thanks!

@Gabugs oh I wish!!!! But no.. Actually my grandpa and uncle are fitness freaks and they made me one too.. I like studying about various types of exercises and I read about the goods and bad of everyone and then try it...

Being able to have a flat tummy consistently is not an easy task and one needs to be extra careful when it is the wedding season or festival season! The crunches I am sure will be very helpful to reduce fat from the stomach ..
