Silver Linings and Golden Clouds

Silver linings, right? They say we have to look for silver linings. I am reminding myself of that. With all going on in the world lately and each time something goes wrong and I want to ask why, I rather say, nope, look for the positives in situations. Count your blessings, and hope things will improve. So, that is what I am doing. I am looking for positives, continuing to try to do the best I can each day, when I am able to do something, I do it. No one knows what is going on in a persons life. We're all just trying to do the best we can. I hope if you need silver linings in your life, that you can find them. I hope that everyone remembers we are all trying to do the best we can in life today. The photo is of sun kissed golden clouds, I took the photo one summer afternoon, when my friends and I were having a stroll. Have a blessed week everyone.

@Inlemay , I think I might have to take a page out of her book too then, as when I wrote this I was kind of trying to remind myself to pep up a little and not let all the blah life can sometimes throw at a person get to me too.

Bad things happen, bad things happen to good people. It is life and we can let it bring us down or we can embrace the good things that happen. Every person has the choice and why not see the silver lining?

A beautiful and much needed discussion in this world of constant turmoil and anguish. Keeping our focus on the positive aspect will rejuvenate us to deal with everyday life inspite of difficulties. The picture is very beautiful. The clouds having such a beautiful golden effect has increased the brightness of the whole discussion.

beautiful. I got a photo sent to me on FB a friend took that looks like Gods face looking down on us. I have tried to figure how to copy it to share but can't figure it out on this windows 8 pc.

Sometimes silverlinings end up being gold linings, like I've seen that at some of the worst moments of my life, things eventually turned out better then I thought possible. Life's like that, it's kinda hard to see at the moment that some disasters were not. Of course, sometimes they actually are, and I don't want to imply that some bad things are not bad at all...but that sometimes, well, they can be:)
